Learning and development is the cornerstone of our People First programme. Our ambition in this area is to ensure that we all have every opportunity to reach our full potential during our career within WYG.

Our Learning Academy is an online portal on our intranet and is designed to be a one stop shop for learning and development solutions, materials, support processes and training courses.

The Learning Academy is open to everyone and has a number of key features which allow you to:

• assess your learning style with information and tools which will help you to determine how you learn most effectively
• view a catalogue of training courses with an on-line booking facility
• browse the services of external training providers from a carefully selected group of trainers managed through one training service agreement

The Learning Academy is a fantastic way of pulling together our approach to learning and development. It provides a simplified way of customising training to the needs of the individual while providing assurance that there are consistent, high standards and demonstrable benefits to the individual and the company.
